About
Chelcey holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan (2022) and is pursuing an M.A. in Piano Pedagogy at Eastern Michigan University (2026). She has been playing piano since 2005 and teaching piano since 2021. A large piece of her teaching philosophy is the inclusion of the student in her teaching. She often offers repertoire and musical games that focus on students' interests. Her instruction focuses on student needs and interests without sacrificing the integrity of the technique and theory instruction.
